By radically centering those most impacted by violence, NP champions Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP) - using encouragement and deterrence, rather than violence and fear. In 2022, NP supported 1,747 Women Protection Team members in 56 active teams across South Sudan, trained 2,000 community members in New York in personal safety strategies as part of the Hope Against Hate campaign, and so much more. Your generosity can help us expand access to life-saving peace strategies – and an actionable way forward to a violence-free tomorrow.
Nonviolent Peaceforce is committed to providing principled, accountable and high-quality civilian protection. To do so, we make sure your generosity counts in transforming the world's response to conflict. In 2022, 87.8% of support went directly to protecting civilians.
